Communication channels

Connect your assistant to Telegram, WhatsApp, Slack and more to access from wherever you prefer.

Channel types

Bidirectional channels (full chat)

You can send and receive messages, like a normal conversation:

  • Telegram — The most complete channel. Real-time chat with voice, photo and document support.
  • WhatsApp — Via WhatsApp Business API or a QR bridge for personal accounts.
  • Slack — Integrate the assistant into your Slack workspace.
  • Mattermost — For teams using Mattermost as internal communication.
  • Email — Configure email accounts with automatic reply rules.

Notification channels (send only)

Receive notifications and reminders (you can't send messages back):

  • Discord — Notifications via webhooks to your Discord server.
  • Webhook — HTTP POST to any URL. Useful for custom integrations.

Set up Telegram

  1. Open Telegram and search for @BotFather
  2. Send /newbot and follow the instructions to create your bot
  3. Copy the token that BotFather gives you
  4. In MeigaHub, go to 'My Channels', select Telegram and paste the token
Your bot, your privacy

The Telegram bot is yours and only you can use it. Conversations go directly between your server and your Telegram account.

Set up WhatsApp

There are two options:

  1. WhatsApp Business API (recommended): You need a Meta Business account. Set up the webhook and number in MeigaHub.
  2. WhatsApp QR (testing): Scan a QR code from the panel to quickly connect a personal account.
  3. In both cases, configure authorized numbers if you want to restrict who can talk to the assistant.

Email automation

Email channels support automatic rules that process each incoming message:

  • AI-powered automatic reply with customizable tone and instructions
  • Capture verification codes (OTP) and confirmation links
  • Smart forwarding of relevant content
